Whether you're interested in tutoring or mentoring youth, promoting adult literacy or teaching computer skills, there are many volunteer opportunities available through CaringWorks.
Youth Programs
Volunteers are needed at our
Learning Link Programs, which offer year-round school age care exclusively for resident youth, ages 5–12. Program activities designed to enhance social competency and academic achievement include homework assistance, tutoring, computer learning, arts and crafts, and indoor/outdoor recreation.
If you are interested in working with adolescents, consider working with the teen clubs. These clubs provide social, cultural and recreational enrichment opportunities for youth between ages 13–17.

Adult Programs
Volunteers are also needed to work with our adult residents. There are currently opportunities to provide computer instruction and to teach reading. Your commitment of time will help our residents to strengthen employability and vocational skills.
