Carol Collard, PhD, LMSW
President/CEO
Co-founder and President, Carol Collard is a passionate participant in the fight to reduce homelessness. Carol has worked for over 16 years in supportive housing and helped launch CaringWorks, a 501(c)(3) non-profit created by Progressive Redevelopment, Inc (PRI), over nine years ago. She oversees a 40-member staff which operates nine supportive housing programs in Georgia. Carol earned an undergraduate degree in Communications from Loyola University in New Orleans, and both a masters degree and PhD in social work from the University of Georgia. She is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), and is also an Assistant Professor of Social Work at Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, GA.
