Help Start The School Year Off Right
Children facing homelessness experience many obstacles, including being more likely to repeat a grade, be expelled or suspended, or drop out of school. Many have witnessed violence, been separated from their families, and experienced anxiety or depression.
CaringWorks currently serves nearly 70 families, many of which have school-age children. Through quality supportive housing, behavioral health, and a myriad of support services, we are helping these families break the cycle of homelessness, and their children are receiving the safety, security and stability they need to fulfill their potential.
One way that CaringWorks helps our families is by partnering with generous organizations and donors that help cover the costs of back-to-school expenses for children in our program. This year we are seeking donations to cover the cost of clothes and other school supplies.
Will you help children in our program get ready for the new school year?
What your support means:
- $25 will purchase a backpack
- $50 will purchase a pair of tennis shoes
- $75 will purchase two back-to-school outfits
- $100 will purchase some school supplies
- $250 will purchase an education tablet

How can you help?
Make a general donation and put "back to school" in the memo. We will use these funds to support CaringWorks families with back-to-school expenses. Thank you for your support!
