Our Focus
CaringWorks helps each client in a uniquely personal way. We offer a full spectrum of treatment programs and services and then tailor them for each person to enable them to reach their goals. All CaringWorks’ programs are CARF-accredited and licensed by the state of Georgia.
Treatment programs and services that are offered include:
Increasing Access to Behavioral Health
In addition to working with partners to help many of our clients access behavioral health services, in 2023 more than 220 of our clients received these services directly from CaringWorks either in our outpatient behavioral health facility, in their homes, or via telehealth. Mental and behavioral health services are one of the most significant health needs in Georgia, according to the 2022 Georgia Community Health Needs Assessment. To help address this need in one of the most underserved areas of the state, CaringWorks opened an office in College Park in 2022 to expand access to mental health services for residents of Southside Atlanta and surrounding communities.
Changed Lives
Let some of our clients tell you about their experience.
Sharon J.
Sharon left Miami and came to Atlanta to find a better life, one without substance abuse. She heard about CaringWorks from other colleagues and started coming to the classes in the CORE program. She’s been clean and sober for over five years since coming to CaringWorks.
“When I first started I would not talk or share. As I went on, I started talking and interacting with others. I just became a part of the program and I really love it. I really love CaringWorks,” Sharon stated.
She continued to say, “CaringWorks has the greatest team. They make you feel welcome; they make you feel at home. They always tell me that I can call them if I ever need them and that I don’t have to do it by myself.” Sharon also told us, “I made a lot of progress while I was in the program. I moved on from my apartment and I own my own home now. When you can accomplish something like owning your own home and you can look back at where you came from, it means a lot to me...Getting yourself together, getting yourself clean, and being in your right state of mind is where you wanna be. Caring does work.
