Stability in the Storm: Our Vision for 2026

Carol CollardLooking Back: Resilience in 2025

As I reflect on the past year, the word that comes to mind is steadfast. 2025 was a year characterized by significant volatility, particularly regarding federal funding and shifting policy landscapes. For many in our sector, that uncertainty felt like a constant headwind.

Yet, because of your unwavering support, CaringWorks did more than just weather the storm – we served as a lighthouse. While the headlines fluctuated, our mission did not. We remained focused on the individuals and families who rely on us for housing, hope, and healing.

Celebrating our Collective Impact

Despite our external pressures of the last year, we achieved remarkable milestones together:

  1. Consistency in Care: We maintained our high standard of supportive services without interruption, ensuring that federal budget delays never resulted in a loss of dignity for our clients.
  2. Growth in Community Support: We successfully navigated funding gaps by lean, strategic pivoting, and the incredible generosity of our private donors.
  3. Empowerment: Neighbors transitioned from the uncertainty of the streets to the security of a permanent home.

I am deeply grateful for your trust. When the ground felt like it was shifting, you stood firm with us.

The Vision for 2026: Fulfilling a Deeper Commitment

As we enter 2026, we are not just looking to ‘get by’. Our vision this year is built on three strategic pillars:

  1. Meaningful Client Outcomes: Clients will continue to experience dignity-restoring care that optimizes their capacity for self reliance and well being.
  2. Continuous Improvement: Unceasing effort to attract and retain a staff of professionals who understand the needs of those we serve and who work daily to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  3. Sustainable Independence: We are diversifying our resource streams to ensure that CaringWorks remains resilient to federal volatility.

We have a proven model that works. We have proven that our community is resilient. Now, in 2026, we prove that together, we can contribute to ending the cycle of homelessness for good.

Thank you for being the foundation upon which we build this future. Your investment is a declaration that every person deserves a place to belong.

Thanks for joining us on this journey,
