Above and Beyond for Clients and Colleagues

Employee Spotlight: Bridget Fogle, Program Manager

For more than four years, Bridget Fogle has served as a dedicated advocate for individuals and families working to overcome homelessness. As a Program Manager for CaringWorks, she helps clients access the resources and support they need to remain stably housed.

But Bridget’s impact extends beyond her own caseload.

As staffing needs have shifted across programs, Bridget has consistently stepped in to support colleagues wherever help is needed—whether that means assisting with compliance and documentation, helping maintain client communication, or taking on additional responsibilities to keep programs running smoothly.

To Bridget, supporting her colleagues is simply part of being a team member.

“I think it’s important to not only support our clients, but also each other,” she said. “We’re all a team, so if I can help out anywhere, I try to.”

Her colleagues say that mindset, combined with her strong organizational skills and attention to detail, has made her a valuable resource for staff across the organization. For example, last year, Bridget was asked to share some of her strategies with fellow team members for maintaining compliance.

While she is quick to downplay her contributions, Bridget credits her ability to help others to staying organized and ensuring her own responsibilities remain on track. While assisting others, Bridget continues to manage a caseload that serves 51 individuals, including single adults and families.

Her commitment to teamwork reflects the same approach she brings to her work with clients. Bridget believes that effective support starts with building trust and treating people with respect.

“I meet everybody where they are,” she said. “I try to build relationships with people. I care about what’s going on in their lives, and I want to hear their stories.”

At the same time, Bridget believes in being honest with clients while encouraging them to keep moving forward.

“I’ll tell them the truth,” she said. “I hold them accountable, but I also encourage them.”

That balance of compassion, honesty, and encouragement has helped Bridget build strong relationships with clients over the years and witness many successes along the way.

For Bridget, the most rewarding part of her work is seeing clients make progress and achieve goals they once thought were out of reach.

“Seeing positive changes in my clients’ lives is highly rewarding,” she said. “I know we can’t always help everyone, but if I can help one person reach their goals, I feel like I am doing my job.”

Whether she’s advocating for clients or stepping in to support a colleague, Bridget’s willingness to help wherever she’s needed reflects the teamwork and dedication that strengthen CaringWorks every day.
