CaringWorks Recognized for Quality and Excellence
CaringWorks recently earned its latest Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) accreditation, which has been the recognized benchmark of quality health and human services for more than 50 years. The CARF accreditation process occurs every three years and signals a service provider’s commitment to continually improving services, encouraging feedback, and serving the community. CaringWorks has maintained CARF accreditation since it was first accredited in 2009.
CaringWorks also received a 96% out of 100% on its latest Medicaid audit which is an unannounced audit that occurs periodically and is a requirement of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) for Medicaid-funded providers.
Both the CARF accreditation and the Medicaid audit involve rigorous processes where teams of surveyors conduct on-site visits and interviews with staff, clients and stakeholders to assess programs and services to ensure they are measurable, accountable, and of the highest quality.
“These achievements demonstrate our commitment to serve our clients and the community with exceptional programs and services that don’t just meet standards, but that exceed them,” said CaringWorks CEO Carol Collard. “I’m incredibly proud of our team which demonstrates each day that caring works.”
