Perceive-Homelessness
How the public perceives homelessness has a large impact on a city’s policies. Society tends to blame the individual for being homeless due to a variety of factors. Actually, research shows that it is the increasing shortage of affordable housing, lack of employment, and a living wage that often put a person at risk. This disconnect leads to confusion, blame and an inability to obtain positive changes for our homeless population. You can help by supporting CaringWorks through volunteering and donations.
